Welcome to your hybrid course at Lackawanna College!

We understand that taking online classes can be an adjustment for many students. Not only do online courses require you to be an independent learner, but they require you to have familiarity with the course platform it is being delivered on. This required orientation module will familiarize you with the layout and navigation of Canvas, so you'll be well-prepared to begin your course content.

Here are the first things you'll need to do:

Read the hybrid course registration message that was sent to your personal email address on file with the school. Be sure to watch the Hybrid Course Orientation video included in that email.
Click "Syllabus" on the left-hand side of this course, and read the attached document.
The syllabus provides a clear overview of the expectations and requirements of this course. Please pay particular attention to the policies and procedures that apply to hybrid courses.
View and complete each of the orientation exercises within the Orientation Module. You will need to complete the activities in sequence, and access each page, in order to begin Module 1 content.

Make sure you complete the orientation content on the first day of the semester!
